Goats....Again!

Well, Vania being President of the FFA and the goats herdsman this year has her responsibility cut out for her.  One of the ewes was rejecting one of her kids and not allowing it to feed.   So of course it ends up at my house.  It's as natural as apple pie for me to harbor unwanted barnyard animals.  The kid needs to be fed every 3 hours so Vania is not getting a whole lot of sleep.  So again I am harboring illegal barn yard animals at my house again.   This will be our fifth time harboring fugitive barnyard animals.  Vania graduates in June.  I just have to keep the cops at bay until then.  You know, most normal suburbanites would think it odd hearing a small kid baying in their garage or there daughters room.    It is not my lot in life to be a normal suburbanite.

Seth and the Superman Connection

Seth received several costumes for Christmas this year.  He was preparing to watch the Superman movie and wasn't sure what he wanted to wear so he wore a combo Spiderman (cause it has muscles with it) and Superman costume to watch the movie.  With Seth there is no sitting while watching a super hero movie.

As superman saves the plane from crashing he takes time to glance at Seth with approval for his costume.

Seth was heard to exclaim, "I think he looks like me".

Seth and Ada at the Farm

Seth and Ada have a real sense of responsibility when it comes to feeding and taking care of the animals at the Gilroy High School FFA farm.  Seth is very dedicated in his feeding abilities for the sheep and chickens.  I think Seth feels a little above feeding chickens and has delegated that responsibility to Ada.  He mainly focuses on the sheep and goats and pigs.  Seth feels he needs to pet each animal while they eat.   Ada was elated with her new responsibility of feeding the chickens.  She felt she had to be in the coop assisting the chickens with their eating.

Now it's outside for the corral sheep.  Ada loves this part.  I think she prefers being outside.

Grandpa Rut and the kids

The photo is a little fuzzy, but we had a grand time watching, "Despicable Me" on grandpa's computer.  That was a special moment for me.  It was the first time I had watched a movie with Seth where he didn't say, "Why is he doing that? " every 15 seconds.  Ada was just a little angel.
