We received our call and are going to the France Lyon Mission. We report to the MTC in Provo on the 23rd of January 2012. A long time to wait, but it will give us time to improve our French speaking skills. The France Lyon Mission is a new mission. It absorbed the France Toulouse and the Switzerland Geneva Mission. Our mission borders Switzerland, Spain and Italy. Also included in our mission is the Island of Corsica. (See below for a map of our mission). We will be there for two years. More if I can swing it. Missionaries report that the France Toulouse Mission and Switzerland Geneva Mission will combine into a single mission this July. The mission will be renamed the France Lyon Mission and administer LDS missionary work throughout southern France and Francophone Switzerland. Some areas will also reportedly be transferred over to the France Paris Mission as part of the consolidation.)
